This website, tergado.com, is run by SigmaClava LLC, a Texas limited liability company, under the brand Maison TergaDo. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean SigmaClava LLC.

We decide how and why the personal information described here is used. Under European and UK data protection law, that makes us the "controller".

This policy covers this website and the forms on it. Other websites we link to, including the websites of our houses, have their own privacy policies.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any messages you submit through our contact forms. We also collect usage data automatically, including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.

Where you ask about entering into a contract with us, we also rely on taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Career applications: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in recruiting (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Keeping your application for future roles: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
• Spam protection and site security: our legitimate interest in keeping the site and its forms safe and working (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Legal duties and claims: complying with the law (Article 6(1)(c)), and our legitimate interest in establishing or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).

7. Your Rights (EEA and UK)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to:

• get a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• have your information deleted;
• ask us to limit how we use it;
• receive information you gave us in a portable format;
• object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

We do not make decisions about you by purely automated means.

To use any of these rights, email hello@tergado.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within one month, or tell you within that month if we need longer and why. There is normally no charge.

8. Your Rights (United States)

Depending on where you live, such as California or Texas, state law may give you the right to:

• know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it;
• have it deleted;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• opt out of the sale of your information, targeted advertising, "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising, and certain profiling.

We do not sell or share your personal information, use it for targeted advertising or use it for profiling, so there is nothing to opt out of. We offer the other rights to everyone, whether or not a state law requires it.

The categories of information we have collected in the past 12 months are identifiers (name, email address, phone number), professional or employment information (company, role, experience, cover letter and links), and limited internet activity (a hashed code of your IP address). The sources, purposes and recipients are described in sections 1 to 3. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer anything about you.

To make a request, email hello@tergado.com. An authorised agent can make a request for you with your signed permission. We will verify requests by matching the email address you used with us. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the appeal, you can contact your state Attorney General.

9. Children

This site is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and the UK. If you think a child has sent us their details, email hello@tergado.com and we will delete them.

10. Cookies

We set no cookies for visitors. The only cookie we use, mt_session, keeps our own administrators signed in. See our Cookie Policy for details.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
